Description
This is the white truffle from Alba and Piedmont. This truffle is very rare and only grows naturally, it is the most expensive in the world, depending on the harvest could reach 4,000 or more per kilo. Season is very short: from 10 September to 31 December , according to the region. Its size varies from that of the nut to the first of the fist. Has a smooth, slightly creamy, slightly tan to dark cream or greenish. Its interior has a dark, reddish-brown, fine white stripes.Very delicate and breaks a few days.
